Natural Fiber Rug Care:
• Vacuum regularly using suction only or with the beater bar turned off.
• Vacuum both the rug surface and the floor underneath the rug, since dirt can settle through natural fiber weaves.
• Blot spills immediately with a clean, dry white cloth. Do not rub or scrub the rug. For Jute rugs especially, avoid any liquid getting on this rug
• For small spots, use as little moisture as possible. Blot gently and dry immediately.
• For larger stains, pet accidents, odor, or full cleaning, professional rug cleaning is recommended.
• Trim loose ends or sprouts with scissors at the base. Do not pull loose fibers.
• Rotate the rug periodically, especially in high-traffic areas, so wear and fading are distributed more evenly.
• Use a rug pad to reduce movement, help protect the floor, and extend the life of the rug.
• Recommended for indoor use.
Warnings:
• Do not machine wash.
• Do not steam clean, carpet shampoo, soak, hose off, or hot-water extract.
• Do not bleach.
• Avoid liquid cleaners unless the manufacturer specifically allows them.
• Avoid prolonged moisture. Water can weaken natural fibers and may cause staining, browning, mildew, or texture changes.
• Not recommended for damp rooms, bathrooms, uncovered patios, or other moisture-prone areas.
