  • Be currently in stock and available for purchase.
  • Be publicly verifiable online or directly with the competing retailer.
  • Still be available when we review the request.

How we compare prices We compare the total advertised purchase price, including mandatory shipping charges and immediately redeemable discounts.

Offers That Do Not Qualify

Our Price Match Guarantee does not apply to:

  • Used, returned, damaged, irregular, or factory-second products.
  • Clearance, liquidation, or limited-quantity offers.
  • Auction listings.
  • Marketplace listings from individual sellers.
  • Membership-only or employee-only pricing.
  • Typographical or pricing errors.
  • Mail-in rebates or promotional credits received at a later date.
  • Offers that require multiple discounts to be combined.
  • Competitor prices created through a previous price match.
  • Promotions involving free products or other non-cash incentives.
  • Prices that do not comply with applicable manufacturer pricing requirements.
  • Discounts obtained by bundling multiple products.

Manufacturer closeouts, manufacturer-directed promotions, and changes to a manufacturer’s suggested retail price may be subject to separate terms.

How Requests Are Reviewed

  1. Verification BuyAreaRugs.com will verify the product, competing price, availability, shipping charges, and applicable discount terms.
  2. Confirmation Once the offer has been verified, we will contact you by email and confirm whether the request qualifies.
  3. Price adjustment Approved requests will receive instructions for purchasing at the adjusted price or applying the adjustment to an eligible recent order.
